Where it comes from

From the Sous Valley to your formulation

Argan oil is pressed from the kernels of the Argania spinosa tree, found only in southwestern Morocco. The oil is naturally rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids — which is why it shows up in serums, hair treatments, and body care lines worldwide.

We work with local cooperatives that handle fruit selection, kernel extraction, and first-stage pressing using methods that have been used in the region for generations. Our role is to bridge that production with the quality controls, packaging, and paperwork your business needs to import and sell with confidence.

Every batch is traceable from cooperative to export — not a blended or re-labeled commodity oil.

Production

How the oil is made

  1. Harvest & selection

Ripe argan fruit is collected from certified groves in the Agadir region and sorted by hand.

  2. Kernel extraction

Fruit is dried, shells are cracked, and kernels are separated — without applying heat to the oil-bearing material.

  3. Cold pressing

Kernels are mechanically pressed to retain vitamin E, antioxidants, and the natural color and scent profile.

  4. Filter, test, ship

Oil is filtered, batch-tested, packed to your spec, and released with the documentation required for your market.

Women's cooperative harvesting argan in Morocco
People & place

Cooperatives, not middlemen

Most of the handwork — cracking kernels, traditional know-how, local employment — happens in women's cooperatives across the argan region. Buying direct keeps more value in those communities and gives you a shorter, verifiable supply chain.

Harvesting is managed to protect the UNESCO-listed argan forest. Waste from processing is reused where possible, and packaging options include formats suited to bulk export with minimal unnecessary material.
